"Thank you so much for the extraordinary, wonderful, compassionate care my mother received while Cedar Hill was her home. My mind was always at ease knowing she was safe and happy while in your care. It is so comforting knowing she was surrounded by loving people. Peace and love to you all!"
- Cedar Hill Resident Family Member
"I can't tell you how impressed my family, especially Kate and myself are with the care Mom received. Both before memory care and in memory care. Please tell all the staff how much we appreciated them.”
-Karen H
In 1988, when nurses Mary Louise Horn and Judy Brogren first began Cedar Hill, the idea of continuing care (a model of care that attends to a wide range of retirement needs within one residence or campus) was in its infancy, showing up in journals and manifesting in a smattering of assisted living facilities. 30 years later, Cedar Hill is one of the most respected Continuing Care Communities in the region.
"People can come here when fairly independent & get basic services of housekeeping, meals, transportation, & maybe they don't need any personal care. As they stay here and age in place, there comes a time when they might need help with medication, bathing, therapy, so we have different steps, different levels of care and services."
- Mary Louise Sayles
Cedar Hill offers a continuum of care that includes independent & assisted living, short-stay rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, memory care, and comfortable and dignified end-of-life care. It is all here, on the same campus, with the same loving family of caregivers
Our full spectrum of support services includes clinical coordination; skilled nursing care; and physical, occupational, cognitive, and speech therapy. In addition to our own doctors, we have a dentist, podiatrist and other specialists who make house calls.
